PUBLIC, a government-technology company based in Europe, has partnered with the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, the City of The Hague and its Convention Bureau to deliver the GovTech Summit, 13-14 October.
The hybrid GovTech Summit, ‘Build Back Digital’, to be held at World Forum, will provide access to political and public figures leading Europe’s digital transformation across the public sector.
Expert speakers include Raymond Knops, state secretary for the Ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relations; Jan Van Zanen, mayor of The Hague, Constantijn van Oranje, envoy for TechLeap Startup, and Kaja Kallas, the prime minister of Estonia.
Speakers will be discussing issues such as tackling climate issues, boosting citizen engagement, improving health services and redesigning our cities.
With the Netherland’s expertise in GovTech, and the Hague’s reputation as the city of peace and justice, it is seen as the ‘natural centre’ for this summit. A panel of experts will be brought together during the summit to discuss the ‘state of GovTech in the Netherlands’, with an aim to emphasise the Dutch character of the event.
