EUROPE – The cantonal hospital of St Gallen, in Switzerland, is starting to plan for hosting the first edition of the ‘Advanced Prostate Cancer Consensus Conference’, an event focussing on the treatment options for patients with advanced prostate cancer.
Over 200 delegates are expected to attend the 12-14 March conference next year at the Hotel Einstein in St Gallen.
Conference PCO Congrex Switzerland is organising the St Gallen event and has also been mandated to organise the 9th European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health (ECTMIH), which will take place 6-10 September 2015 at the Congress Center Basel. It is another first-time event for Switzerland and is organised under the auspices of the Federation of European Societies for Tropical Medicine and International Health and the Swiss Society of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology.
The congress expects up to 2,000 international physicians.
Global leading engineers will also be meeting this year, from 28 September to 1 October, at the FIDIC World Consulting Engineering Conference in Rio de Janeiro. It will be the first congress planned by Congrex Switzerland in Brazil.
