ASM Global has announced the appointment of entertainment industry specialist Matthew Lazarus-Hall, as the group’s executive vice-president for entertainment and content.
Lazarus-Hall is an entertainment executive with over 25 years in the live entertainment business. He is the founder and CEO of Square Circles Creative Solutions, an Australian-based company focused on providing consultancy in event strategy across touring, festivals, exhibitions and sport.
He was previously the senior vice-president, Asia for global entertainment company AEG, overseeing all concerts, festivals and sporting events across the Asia Pacific region, as well as the CEO of Chugg Entertainment, an Australian entertainment touring companies.
Lazarus-Hall has toured and worked with many of the world’s artists including Sir Elton John, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Keith Urban, Bette Mir,and AC/DC.
In his new role, Lazarus-Hall’s focus will be working with ASM’s portfolio of venues in Australia, Asia and MENA regions, providing support regarding the strategic direction and development of entertainment and other content. His initial focus will be the ASM Global managed Kai Tak Sports Park, the indoor sports and entertainment arena opening in mid-2025 in Hong Kong.
