In partnership with MedUni Vienna and the city meetings industry, the Vienna Convention Bureau has released a new set of guidelines for organisers of business events.
The new guidelines are directed at preventing transmission of Covid-19 and designed to allow some flexibility in terms of execution of events depending on the specific situation.
This catalogue of measures covers both general and specific hygiene and event requirements and contains essential medical parameters that need to be considered when creating a Covid-19 prevention plan for business events. All official recommendations have been aligned to the latest guidance issued by the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection. (The full guidelines manual can be downloaded here.)
Furthermore, Austria’s largest conference centre has put together a detailed events plan, including a corona compliant seating layout that ensures a minimum distance of more than one metre between seats, which fully complies with the latest regulations from the Austrian Ministry of Health and the recommendations issued by the WHO. This means that organisers can dedicate their full attention to the content of the event. Please see here for more information on #safemeetings at the Austria Center Vienna.
