EUROPE – Magma Arts and Congress Centre in Tenerife has entered into a partnership with Siam Park water park to offer a joint package to clients.
The congress centre says the new joint venture offers the MICE and corporate market an added attraction during their stay for events on the island.
A Magma Art and Congress Centre spokesman said: “The idea is to combine a multifunctional congress centre, equipped to suit events of different types and sizes, with a water park which boasts impressive attractions, an artificial white sand beach and the largest man-made waves in Europe. After a long day of work, delegates can spend time relaxing and having fun.”
Elsewhere in Tenerife the five-star Iberostar Grand Hotel Mencey has reopened following a complete refurbishment. The only five-star property in Santa Cruz, the island’s capital city, has meeting facilities for between 10 and 500 guests.
Finally, ‘The Ultimate Tenerife Experience’ has been awarded Best Marketing Activity for Events at Spain’s first-ever Territorio and Marketing national awards.
The programme, organised by the Tenerife Convention Bureau, offers participants an opportunity to get involved in activities while learning about the island and its facilities.
