UK – Meetings and conference organisers are gathering in London this month to discuss crisis and risk management at the annual Summer Summit.
Jointly organised by the International Congress and Convention Association, Association of British Professional Conference Organisers, Meetings Industry Association and the Association of Irish Professional Conference Organisers, the summit takes place on 15 and 16 July at Excel London.
Topics to be discussed include managing crisis and risk, with a focus on the Icelandic volcano eruption that grounded flights across Europe, winning business in a post-recession world, new technology in the meetings industry and where the industry is headed in the next decade.
