Saxton Speakers Bureau appoints Anne Jamieson as CEO

Australia’s leading speakers’ bureau, Saxton Speakers Bureau, announced on 14 June the appointment of Anne Jamieson (pictured) as CEO. Jamieson will commence in the newly formed role in August 2018.

Managing director Winston Broadbent said: “[She is] known for her collaborative leadership style, service excellence and delivering revenues to organisations”.

Jamieson brings over 30 years in venues, event management and customer experience. For the last nine years, Anne has been a director at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), building a high performing business development and sales team. She has a keen eye for innovative new services and was integral in the recently announced partnership between C2 International and MCEC.

She was also responsible for the management of the Club Melbourne Ambassador Programme. She is the current chair of Meetings Events Australia, a board member of the Victorian Tourism Industry Council and chair of the Victorian Events Council.

Jamieson commented: “I am honoured and excited to be appointed to lead this wonderful company.”
