RTE changes 2013 AIME dates after opening in MCEC schedule

AUSTRALASIA – The organiser of the Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME), Reed Travel Exhibitions (RTE), has announced new show dates for the 2013 Australian MICE event.

The exhibition will now take place on 26 and 27 February 2013, revised from the original March 2013 dates after space became available at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the original home of the event.

Director for AIME Sally de Swart said the date change has been well received following collaboration with key buyers.

“February best suits the industry diary and allows AIME to remain the first meetings and incentives event on the year’scalendar, so we’re really happy with the revised dates for the 2013 show,” said de Swart.

Karen Bolinger, CEO of the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCVB), owner of AIME, confirmed her support.

“Over the last two decades, AIME has traditionally been held in February, so we are delighted the revised dates will ensure the show is consistent with previous years,” said Bolinger.

AIME brings together exhibitors, hosted buyers and visitors from the meetings and incentives industry.
