AUSTRALIA – Elizabeth Rich, Chief Executive of the Business Events Council of Australia (BECA), will retire from her role at the end of June this year.

Rich has led the organisation since its founding 17 years ago.

“She has made a remarkable contribution to the business events industry both nationally and globally over many years,” said BECA Chairman Leigh Harry. “The industry is significantly better understood and recognised because of her constant and passionate contribution during this period.”

BECA is the peak industry body representing the interests of the meetings, conventions, incentives and exhibition sector in Australia.
