Poznan International Fair to organise the UN climate summit in Poland

EUROPE – Professional Conference Organiser Poznan International Fair has signed an agreement with the Ministry of the Environment under which it will be responsible for the logistical organisation of the UN climate conference, COP19. The conference on climate change will be held at the National Stadium in Warsaw, 11-22 November 2013.

The capital of Poland will host over 10,000 delegates for the 11-day event in November. The conference will be accompanied by several dozen scientific and cultural events including meetings, seminars and workshops on climate change and opportunities to mitigate its effects.

Poznan International Fair organises almost 80 fair events and a number of congresses and conferences a year in Poland and abroad.

In December 2008, Poznan International Fair and Poznan Congress Centre hosted the 14th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. The event attracted 12,000 delegates from 189 countries.
