ASIA – Pattaya Exhibition and Convention Hall (PEACH) hosted the 11th Asian Congress of Urology of the Urological Association of Asia from 22-26 August 2012.
It is the second time the Thai Urological Association has been given the opportunity to host the event in Thailand, the first being in 1993.
The five-day event attracted over 1,300 Urological Association of Asia (UAA) members from 21 nations over Pan-Asia and 110 exhibitors.
The congress included a main exhibition on the ‘New Era of Asian Urology’, co-located lectures, the 7th Japan-ASEAN Conference on Men’s Health and Ageing, Luncheon Satellite Symposia, workshops and a ‘Thai Night’ themed gala dinner.
President of UAA, Allen Chiu hosted the opening ceremony at the Royal Cliff Grand Hotel. Also in attendance were his executive committee including Apichat Kongkanand, Chairman of the 11th Asian Congress of Urology and President-Elect of UAA.
