PCMA updates CASE online course

WORLD – The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) has launched an updated Certified Association Sales Executive (CASE) online course. 

The association says it has enhanced the course to help busy sales executives fill their association knowledge gaps.

The courseconsists of 10 building block modules and is online, interactive, self-paced, certificate course.

According to Deborah Sexton, PCMA’s President and CEO “the updating of the CASE Online Course was an important, 12-month, PCMA endeavor. We harnessed the knowledge and insights of our industry sales and association luminaries to ensure participants have the most relevant skills and tools to become valued resources to each of their customers.”

The course culminates with participants taking their collective association knowledge,building an account plan and presenting a consultative presentation to their chosen association customer to demonstrate newly acquired expertise.

CASE online course participants are awarded a certificate and seven CEUs upon successful completion of the 10 modules.

PCMA, headquartered in Chicago, represents more than 6,000 meeting management professionals and has 17 chapters throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico.
