Pacific world expanding into Southern Africa

AFRICA – Pacific World, a destination management company (DMC) and professional conference organiser (PCO) in Asia and Europe, has announced at meetings industry tradeshow, IMEX Frankfurt, it is expanding into Southern Africa.

Pacific World Southern Africa will deliver meeting, inventive, congress and event programmes across the region, including South Africa, Nambia, Botswana, Mozambique, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

“The launch of Pacific World Southern Africa is an important step towards establishing Pacific World as a global DMC, event management, and PCO company,” said Business Development Director of Pacific World, Harsha Krishnan.

Through a partnership with inbound tour operator African Travel Concept (ATC), Pacific World Southern Africa will operate out of offices in Cape Town and Windhoek.

Krishnan added: “In Southern Africa, the partnership with ATC allows clients to benefit from the local network and knowledge of an established inbound operator and specialised MICE team while at the same time benefiting from the scale and operational guarantee of Pacific World globally.”
