Maastricht comes to the conference table

News

EUROPE – Organisers and their delegates can now meet for a good price and a good cause in The Netherlands during the two-week campaign ‘Maastricht at the Conference Table’. Local meeting venues have extended the region’s existing campaign that already offers food and drink at discounted rates.

During ‘Maastricht at the Conference Table’, one can book an eight-hour meeting package at the rate of €40.20 per person. This price includes a donation of €0.20 to the charity Fill the Cup, which works to provide school meals via the World Food Programme.

Maastricht at the Conference Table (Maastricht aan de Vergadertafel) forms the newest part of the ‘Maastricht aan’ concept, which also includes Maastricht aan Tafel (Maastricht Dining Experience) and Maastricht aan de Bar (Maastricht at the bar). Both initiatives offer discounted dining and drinking.

Marcel Knols, Director Maastricht Convention Bureau and Maastricht Tourist Office, says: “Maastricht aan…offers a large marketing value for the city. This is evident from the facts that more and more organisations are joining up. This year Maastricht at the Conference Table originated a variant which we can add to Maastricht aan Tafel and Maastricht aan de Bar. This way, the concept ofMaastricht aan…is more and more interesting for the business market as well.”

Participating venues in Maastricht at the Conference Table include the Crowne Plaza Maastricht, Hotel de l’Empereur, Hotel Van der Valk Maastricht and NH Maastricht.
