Global DMC Partners, the largest global network of Destination Management Companies (DMCs), has announced its first European Connection conference, Connection 2018, will take place at the Sheraton Warsaw, Poland, 16-19 August.
The Warsaw conference will host industry professionals’ discussion of trends, current global outlook and regulations, such as the Global Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
President of Global DMC Partners, Catherine Chaulet (pictured), says: “According to post-event evaluations, our breakout sessions have received the highest ratings out of all the education opportunities at the Connection. Planner attendees have told us that no other event has given them the opportunity to connect on a deeper level with other meeting planners that are dealing with similar challenges, circumstances, or regulations. This is what makes the Connection so unique and appealing to meeting planners.”
Global DMC Partners’ Polish DMC Partner, SELECT POLAND, will organise and operate city tours and exclusive afternoon activities to give Connection 2018 attendees an opportunity to experience what Warsaw can offer for groups. SELECT POLAND will also host an optional post-event extension to Krakow.
“We’re absolutely thrilled to bring our clients, DMC Partners, and sponsors to Warsaw this year to showcase why it is ideal for meetings and events of all sizes. At the centre of Europe, Warsaw is easily accessible, provides unbelievable value from a budget perspective, and has a very robust history and culture,” Chaulet adds.
The Global DMC network has exclusive partnerships with 65 DMCs around the globe.
