Full-service provider for the live events industry GES has announced that it will partner with the Sustainable Events Summit (SES) on a major new research project.
The research will survey 100 event professionals representing top global brands to gain greater insight into how sustainability informs the planning and delivery of live events.
The results of the research will be unveiled at the summit, which takes place in central London, on 21 November.
Christine Martin, GES’ EMEA marketing director, commented: “We take our responsibility to sustainability seriously and welcome this opportunity to stimulate debate and discussion across the event community.
“The industry has come a long way but there’s more to do. I’m confident this evidence-based approach will help us raise the bar further. ”
One of the summit’s founding partners, Rick Stainton, MD of Smyle, added: “We are absolutely delighted that GES is supporting the summit again this year and we would like to thank them for their commitment.
“We are excited about the new research-led direction for SES and are looking forward to unveiling our findings at the summit.”
