Full bodied wine conference to launch in Australia

News

AUSTRALIA – The Winemaker’s Federation of Australia (WFA) has announced an industry outlook conference to take place in Melbourne this October.

The event will combine a traditional conference programme with a series of practical workshop sessions designed to guide the industry’s transition towards new business thinking.

“We see this as an extension of the discussions, research and planning the wine industry has been engaged with over the past 12 months,” says WFA’s CEO Stephen Strachan. “It’s about confronting new realities and understanding the next steps.”

Speakers at the conference will include global experts from countries such as China, the UK and the US.

The WFA Wine Industry Outlook conference takes place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, 19–20 October 2010.
