EUROPE – Florence has won its bid for the World Union of Wound Healing Societies Conference (WUWHS) 2016.
The event will take place at the Firenze Fiera Congress Centre 25-29 September and is expected to attract 6,000 international delegates. It will focus on advanced research and clinical skill in wound healing.
The two major Italian wound healing societies (AIUC and AISLEC) have strongly supported the bidding for the event, and committed themselves to organising training activities on a national level to maximise the attention to the world congress.
The bidding was promoted by Professor Marco Romanelli, Chairman of the scientific committee and an important personality in the entire international scientific community.
The organisation of the conference will be managed by Italian professional congress organiser C.C.I. Centro Congressi Internazionale, which was supported by Florence Convention Bureau during the bidding.
