IRELAND – Due to reopen for business in May 2010, Dublin’s Aviva Stadium (formerly Landsdowne Road) has secured its first two international association conferences.
Around 300 delegates from The College of Anaesthetists of Ireland will convene at the stadium for the three-day annual conference on 20-21 May.
A month later, the annual Coordination of European Picture Agencies Press Stock Heritage (CEPIC) Congress 2010, which is the largest image industry gathering in the world, will attract over 700 agents to the Dublin venue from 9 to 13 June.
Marketing manager for the stadium, Cailín Keaney, says: “When pitching to the CEPIC Congress, we worked closely with venuesireland.com to help communicate Ireland’s strong business tourism offering, and to highlight the meetings and events offerings of the city.”
