FCM Meetings & Events has appointed Kellie Howard as its new head of sales for Australia. She has relocated to Sydney from Adelaide for the role.
Howard has good industry experience and was most recently director of sales at Adelaide Oval. Her career includes pivotal sales roles at leading venues such as the Australian Turf Club, ICC Sydney, and the Adelaide Convention Centre.
FCM Meetings & Events Global general manager Simone Seiler said the appointment came at an important time for the business, as it zeroed in on growth and investment in acquisition, and building a best-in-class sales and marketing machine.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Kellie to the FCM Meetings & Events team. Her vast experience in the global business events industry, combined with her passion for the sector and her dynamic leadership style, align perfectly with our vision to innovate and excel,” Seiler said.
“Kellie’s expertise in new business development and client engagement will be invaluable as we continue to expand our footprint in both national and international markets,” she added.
Howard said joining FCM Meetings & Events and returning to the agency side of the industry felt like coming home.
“I’m incredibly passionate about the business events sector and I’m looking forward to reconnecting with my colleagues and friends in Sydney, where my journey began,” she said.
