UK – Emap Connect has completed the first edition of its education technology exhibition BETT outside of the UK.
Held on 21 and 22 November 2010 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, the BETT Middle East event showcased new technology set to enter the education sector. The exhibition and conference co-located with Building Future Education MENA, and featured 150 exhibitors and three conference theatres.
“With technology increasingly recognised as a successful tool for transforming teaching and learning, BETT Middle East really did provide a phenomenal opportunity for educators within the Middle East to see this for themselves,” said event director Debbie French.
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company this week formed a strategic alliance with a US marketing firm to bring more events from North America to the emirate’s National Exhibition Centre.
