Global PCO Congrex Americas has joined the Maritz Global Meetings Network as the exclusive representative for Panama.
Managing director Javier Montilla Q. said of the reasons for joining: “When we bought Congrex Americas we put together a vision of what we wanted to achieve in this first phase. We designed a clear five-year plan for development and growth… We felt it natural to establish an alliance with a global company with an excellent reputation in the meetings industry. Maritz Global Events and its Global Meetings Network very much fits this vision.”
He added that Maritz Global Events and its clients would now have local knowledge and a team on the ground in Panama to offer to their clients. “We, on the other hand, will continue to gain knowledge and exposure not only from Maritz Global Events but also from other fellow company members. We look forward to working with them.”

Eduardo Chaillo, global general manager of Latin America at Maritz Global Events, said Maritz Global Events hand-selected Congrex Americas based on their meeting capabilities and expertise, ability to connect client programmes to the local community in Panama, and because they share similar philosophies.
