Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe expands meetings experience as part of $200m transformation

Following a resort rebrand and summer 2025 debut, Caesars Entertainment has launched Phase Two of its $200m transformation of Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, formerly Harveys Lake Tahoe.

Phase Two of the project – slated for completion in summer 2026 – introduces a reimagined meetings and conventions experience, new social venues, and elevated resort amenities, particularly designed to accommodate group travel in the Sierra Nevada.

The completion of Phase Two will provide 25,000 square feet of expanded, flexible indoor meeting and event space. The resort is directly connected to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, giving planners access to an additional 40,000+ square feet of meeting and convention facilities. Together, the two properties will also deliver 1,250+ guest rooms and suites.

Debuting this summer, a reimagined High Dive Pool & Lounge will also offer a year‑round indoor/outdoor setting for receptions and private events.  And Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords will see a new cocktail lounge created in partnership with Clique Hospitality.

There will also be a new fitness centre on the same level as the meetings and pool areas.
Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is an hour away from Reno‑Tahoe International Airport (RNO).

Kelly Gleeson Smith, senior vice-president of sales, said: “With the debut of Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we’re elevating every aspect of the group experience.”
