EUROPE – San Sebastian, in Spain’s Basque Country, claims to have more Michelin-starred restaurants per square metre than anywhere else in the world and has been rated the top holiday destination for food lovers by Which? magazine.
The Basque Tourism Agency says its research shows 71 per cent of congress delegates would recommend the city to host future events.
