ASM Global, producer of live entertainment, and cleaning and disinfection specialists The Clorox Company, has announced a major cleaning collaboration project across its venues in the United States. A multi-year partnership spanning ASM Global’s facility portfolio of arenas, stadiums, theatres and convention centres will include a commitment of $1m in tickets thanking frontline responders and healthcare workers. Under the deal, Clorox® becomes the official cleaning and disinfecting product partner for ASM Global.
“Since the very start of the Covid pandemic, our focus has been on reimagining the future of live events and preparing clean and safe venues for the return of our team members, athletes, fans, partners and guests,” said ASM Global president Ron Bension. “Clorox’s industry-leading solutions allow us to continually enhance the quality of our event experiences, and we’re excited to partner with them in honouring the heroic workers that have supported all of us as we’ve navigated through the pandemic.”
ASM Global already deploys its VenueShield programme and has protocols and procedures deployed across more than 200 facilities across the US.

ASM Global and Clorox will officially launch their partnership at the Oakland Arena on 1 June, 2022, and soon thereafter, in other ASM Global facilities in the US with an eye toward expansion across a wider portfolio of worldwide venues.
