EUROPE – Air France and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have announced an increase in flight frequencies from Scotland to the world for their summer schedule.
KLM is increasing its daily flights from five to six from Edinburgh to Amsterdam and from four tofive from Glasgow. Furthermore, Air France has increased the frequency between Edinburgh and Paris with one additional flight reaching a total of four daily operated flights.
The Air France KLM (AFKL) Group has been operating from Scotland for 67 years and flies from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness.
Henri Hourcade, General Manager UK Ireland at AFKL, says: “AFKL has brought worldwide connectivity to Scotland since 1946, when the first KLM aircraft landed. These additional frequencies will give travellers even greater flexibility and choice of medium and long haul destinations, as well as helping to improve the standing of the Scottish regions on the world stage.”
