AMERICAS – NYC & Company, the city’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organisation, has launched a New York City Delegate Discount Pass for 2015.
The pass offers exclusive saving throughout the year at more than 70 NYC & Company member organisations, including restaurants, tours, attractions and retailers. Available to all attendees, exhibitors, meetings planners and event staff, the pass allows delegates to experience the city’s offering at an affordable price.
“New York City is known for its dining, arts, culture and tours, making it an appealing destination for meeting delegates from around the globe,” said Fred Dixon, NYC & Company’s president and CEO. “Meeting and convention visitors are crucial to New York City’s record-breaking travel and tourism industry, and we hope they take advantage of the plentiful savings available to them through the 2015 New York City Delegate Discount Pass.”
In 2014 New York City welcomed an estimated 6.1m meeting and convention delegates, up from 5.9m delegates who spent approximately US$5bn in the five boroughs in 2013.
The current iteration of the New York City Delegate Discount Pass is valid until 30 June, 2015 (details for the remainder of the year will be available at a later date). To redeem offers, visitors must show a printed or mobile version of the Delegate Discount Pass, provided by NYC & Company’s Destination Services Team to convention, trade show and corporate meeting planners.
