Global PCO Congrex Switzerland has announced that its board of directors have appointed Silvano Schär (pictured) as chief commercial officer and Stephane Dazet as chief operations officer of the company.
Schär joined the company in 2010 as a sales representative and worked in global marketing and sales activities. He has an executive MBA from the University of Berne and over 20 years of experience in the business events and hotel industry.
Dazet has over 22 years of experience in the healthcare and business events industry and possesses a knowledge of medical association congresses. He has worked for leading European medical associations, in the pharmaceutical industry and for an international PCO.
Daniel Brändlin, chairman of the Congrex Switzerland board, and Julia Bicher, member of the board and CEO, stated: “Silvano and Stephane both have a deep passion for the business events industry, and are highly motivated to build on the success story of Congrex Switzerland.”
