A Spanish hotel groups has expanded its Asia Pacifc operation.
Meliá Hotels International’s signing of Meliá Yangon in Myanmar brings its portfolio to 24 hotels and more than 6,000 rooms in the region
The new hotel will be located in a prime location in the centre of Yangon next to Inya Lake.
It offers 400 bedrooms plus the YHI spa, a variety of restaurants and a range of meeting facilities.
Hoang Anh Gia Lai Myanmar (HAGL), a real estate company in Vietnam, will develop the project. The hotel will be part of a mixed-use complex including office buildings, apartments and a commercial centre.
