AMERICAS – The Gateway Canyons Resort in western Colorado has become a member of Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) which now provides dedicated global sales organisation services and sales support for companies and organisations interested in conducting meetings and/or incentive programmes at the resort.
Gateway Canyons Resort is ALHI’s only member in western Colorado and the newest addition to ALHI’s ‘U-200 Gems’ speciality segment, which now consists of 21 exclusive meeting solutions with fewer than 200 guest rooms.
Gateway Canyons Resort is ALHI’s sixth Colorado member, joining The Broadmoor; The Braodmoor’s Ranch at Emerald Valley; the 1,200-room Keystone Resort and Conference Centre; The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in Englewood; and The Sebastian Vail.
Opened in 2008, the Gateway Canyons Resort recently underwent a multi-million dollar renovation, which included the renovation and expansion of its accommodation sites, which includes the Kiva Lodge, Kayenta Lodge, and the Palisade Casitas of Gateway Canyons Resort.
The resort features 12,000sqm of meeting space with venue options such as the new Kayenta Conference Center, the Palisafe Event Center, the 56-seat Discovery HD Theatre, and the Mission Bell Amphitheatre.
The resort also offers an on-site Adventure Centre and Equestrian Center, as well as additional unique experiences including exploring dinosaur tracks, touring the area in a helicopter and off-road expeditions.
ALHI’s worldwide portfolio includes 160 hotels and resorts with over 115,000 rooms and suites and almost 10m sqm of meeting space.
